$ is a display symbol only. Use the same currency for all amounts; no currency conversion is performed.

Use cash timing, not accounting profit. Enter recurring monthly amounts on the same basis and model one-off costs separately.

Go beyond one formula

Test cash runway inside the full business model.

The industry simulator connects pricing, volume, staffing, rent, setup costs, break-even, payback, cash flow and risk.

Runway and burn

Runway converts a cash shortfall into time.

Monthly burn is the amount by which recurring cash out exceeds recurring cash in. Dividing available cash by that shortfall estimates how many similar months it can fund.

Cash is not profit

Payment timing can change the answer.

An invoice can count as revenue before the customer pays it, while stock, deposits, tax and loan principal can use cash differently from their accounting treatment.

Build scenarios

Do not rely on a single average month.

Recalculate for slower sales, late payments, seasonal costs and one-off purchases. Keep a separate buffer for surprises rather than assuming every dollar is available.
