These Terms cover smallbizsim's calculators, invoices, simulations and reports (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to them. If you disagree, please do not use it. Our Privacy Policy explains data handling; agreement to these Terms is not consent to optional analytics or advertising.

Using the tools

Financial results are deterministic planning estimates, not guarantees or financial, accounting, tax, investment or legal advice. AI explains results rather than replacing calculations. Check inputs, supported cases and outputs, and seek professional advice before significant decisions. See our Disclaimer. Account history and document emailing require sign-in; paid features are identified before purchase.

Australian pay estimates

Indicative estimates only. This calculator and its summaries are not a professional accounting assessment and do not provide accounting, tax, financial or legal advice. Results depend on the information entered and assumptions shown and may differ from actual pay, tax or superannuation obligations. Do not rely on these results to process payroll, lodge a tax return or make financial decisions without verification by a qualified accountant or registered tax agent.

Review the selected financial year and provisional assumptions. Summaries are not payslips, employment offers or tax returns. Keep your own copies; server records are not a user history or guaranteed backup.

Invoices and requested emails

Check invoice amounts, tax treatment, business details and legal requirements. Templates do not guarantee compliance or make us a party to your transaction. Only provide information and logos you are entitled to use.

Send documents or report links only to intended recipients who expect them. Check recipient and reply addresses; we cannot recall delivered messages or guarantee inbox placement. Keep important copies and check uncertain sends before sending again. The Privacy Policy explains saving, autosave, guest records and retention.

Accounts and acceptable use

  • Be legally able and authorised to agree to these Terms. Provide accurate account details and protect your login and private report links.
  • Do not bypass access controls, disrupt the Service, access others' data without authority or use it unlawfully.
  • Do not send spam, phishing, fraudulent invoices, impersonations or other unsolicited or abusive messages.

On reasonable grounds of misuse, we may restrict sending or suspend access where necessary to protect users or the Service. Urgent risks may require action without notice. Where practicable and safe, we explain restrictions; contact us to request a review. Your applicable consumer rights remain unaffected.

Purchases and consumer rights

Report purchases are one-time payments, not subscriptions. Prices and included sections are shown before checkout. Payment confirmation unlocks the purchase; local insights and commentary depend on availability and may take longer.

We do not offer change-of-mind refunds once a report is generated and unlocked. This does not limit remedies under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable consumer laws. Contact us about access problems or a purchase not supplied as required.

Your content and our Service

You retain rights in your content and permit us to process it for the features you use and purposes in the Privacy Policy, not unrelated exploitation. Our software, calculators, templates and original content belong to us or our licensors. Do not resell or copy the Service without permission; this does not prevent ordinary use or sharing of your generated documents, subject to third-party rights.

Third-party features

Google Maps features are also subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms and Google Privacy Policy. Where reCAPTCHA is enabled, the Google Terms of Service and Privacy Policy apply to verification.

Availability and liability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free estimates, delivery or business outcomes. Nothing in these Terms or our Disclaimer excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to those rights and where permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses from using the Service.

Changes and contact
